The memories could hurt especially if all you left is old memories, as it mentioned in the letter “All I have is a collection of memories, and they're never enough”. It is a romantic but sad letter. I can image all the plot while reading and was moved easily by Draco's words.

There is always one minute less between those who are in love.  I can't really imagine the feeling of losing a soul mate (neither I would have a try).  It is interesting how come Draco can still keep his mind clear while he is living a life without Harry.  Or is he just cutting his soul into pieces and pieces by the memory with Harry?
